Organic Camphor Essential Oil
Description
The camphor tree is a large evergreen native to Taiwan that can grow to an impressive
100-110 feet tall. Its massive huge branches produce a capacious canopy consisting of
thousands of small, waxy leaves that emit the powerful strong scent of white camphor
essential oil. However, the oil is not extracted from its leaves but instead, it is simply
steamed from the wood and branches of a mature, oil-ready tree, not younger than
50 years old.
The various components of camphor essential oil are Alcohol, Borneol, Camphor, Terpene,
Pinene, Camphene, and Safrol. Camphor essential oil, apart from having a penetrating,
cool, and lasting aroma, has many medicinal properties as well.
Uses
Stimulant & Diaphoretic – Camphor essential oil is considered an effective stimulant
boosting the activity of the circulatory system, digestion, metabolism, secretion, and
excretion. This property helps with problems associated with improper digestion,
obstructed secretions, circulation, sluggish or overactive metabolic rates, and a wide

When mixed into bathing water, camphor oil helps in to disinfect the whole body
externally expelling lice or other small parasites of bugs that might be on your body.

How to Use
- Simply place in a diffuser to clean the air.
- If directly inhaled from the bottle or cloth for the symptomatic relief of colds and congestion.
- Add 9 – 10 drops to your bath to relieve stress and tension, and pain.
- For the symptomatic relief of muscle aches and pains, add a few drops to a carrier oil and then simply rub onto the affected areas.
- For fatigue put a few drops on a cotton ball and inhale for 1 to 3 minutes.
- Add a few drops in hot water, drape a towel over your head and inhale the vapors to clear the lungs and nasal passages.
